Allergy drops, also known as Sublingual Immunotherapy or “SLIT”, is an alternative to traditional allergy shots. For patients who are unable to get time off from work or school, or who are reluctant to take shots, it is a viable option.
Allergy drops are not FDA approved (as of 2016) and are not covered under any insurance plan. Patients would have to pay for them separately.
Please call our office to make an appointment and discuss if allergy drops are a good choice for you.
